What ages can participate?
We offer soccer teams for ages U4 to U18.
Should my child play recreation, academy, or select?
- Recreational Teams are for younger athletes and those just learning to play. Any player ages 4 - 18 can register to play on a recreational team.
- Academy is for athletes ages 6 - 10 looking to level up their skills. Players will try out for the Academy team.
- Select is for older athletes ages 10 - 18 to compete at a higher level. Players will try out to join a Select team.
Do you have girls' teams?
Yes, we have several all-girl Select teams for birth years 2009-2014. Recreational and Academy Teams may be co-ed.
When is the soccer season?
We have fall and spring seasons. Select Teams register for the full year, with an opportunity for new players to join in the spring. Recreational Teams will register once in the fall and again in the spring.
When and how often is practice?
Most teams practice 1 - 2 times per week for 1 - 2 hours each, depending on age and division. Practices are typically held Monday - Thursday, and will vary by team.
When and where are games?
Recreational teams will play primarily in Bastrop at Bob Bryant Park. Academy and Select Teams will play home games at Bob Bryant Park or Bastrop High School, and travel to away games in Austin and the greater Austin areas.
Recreational games are typically held on Saturday mornings. Academy and Select games are held on Saturdays and some Sundays at various times.
