Wesley Eaves (Coach Wes)
President & Head Coach
As a player himself and father of a soccer player, Coach Wes started FC Bastrop to give his kids a wholesome soccer league that really focused on the development of players as people and athletes. His passion didn't stop with just his kids, he wanted to provide this opportunity to all the kids of Bastrop County.
Junior Welch (Coach J)
Select Commissioner & U13 Head Coach
Junior started playing soccer at the age of 5 in Austin Texas. He was fortunate to play for the same private club team throughout high school as a starting defender for the varsity team. Soccer had been a passion of his for many years. After some time away he started coaching. He has been involved with FC Bastrop for 2 years and has enjoyed teaching young people the great game of soccer.
Coach Danny
Academy Head Coach
Soccer has been a passion for Danny since he started playing almost 35 years ago, and he continues to play competitively to this day. He is excited about sharing this passion with the next generation of young athletes, aiming to assist in the development of their skills to play competitively, and hopefully, to have some fun along the way.
Coach Gaston
U14-U15 Head Coach
Gaston has been playing soccer since he could walk. He became more serious about the sport in high school where he was captain of the varsity soccer team. He continues to play whenever he gets the chance. For years now, Gaston has been an assistant coach for his sons team. He joined FC Bastrop as a coach in 2022. His passion and love for the sport has been evident through his coaching style. He has a true and honest desire to help these kids develop their talent and build their confidence. He is excited to continue coaching for FC Bastrop and watch these young athletes flourish.
